Hello,

I will be graduating in May from a 4-year college. I am planning on taking some upper division biology courses this summer to hopefully increase my GPA so that I can apply to dental school in the upcoming cycle(s) (I have not received any offers this cycle yet). My question is: Is it weird to do some post-bacc classes during the summer after graduation at a CC? Will D-schools care / will it help me at all if I make A's? My problem is that the 4-year colleges in my area don't have any upper bio classes in the summer. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

My current GPA is 3.3/3.1

Community Colleges do not offer upper-division courses. All courses you will take there are lower division. And as I and many other SDN members will tell you, it is not advised to take a post-bac at a community college. Dental Schools will see right through what you are trying to pull.
