Although earning a masters in biomedical science seems more attractive, I've heard that grad school doesn't really help your application that much because the grades don't alter your gpa. I'm pretty uninformed. What are some of the best post-bacc programs out there.

Special Master's Programs (SMP's) generally lets you take classes alongside 1st year medical students. (BU, G-Town, EVMS, RFUMS) (Drexel if you count the Video lecture as alongside)
Some programs are just one-year Master's programs (Loyola, Barry U, PCOM, Tulane Cell Mol, Northwestern Neurobio & Physio) and not quite "Special" in the sense that you are competing in a med school environment, but the programs will improve your credentials nevertheless.
Whether you should attend a post-bacc program (undergrad courses) or a grad program depends entirely on you. For starters, you should consider the number of credits you've already accumulated, your overall GPA, your science GPA, and your MCAT score.
