Sorry if this is a silly question but by any chance does anyone know of any post-bacc programs that do not require letters of recommendation or reference to apply to them?

Besides of course community colleges. I think the only one I know of is Harvard's Extension. Any others out there?

Thanks! 🙂

I took my post-bacc courses (intro bio, intro physics, honors gen chem, o-chem, and labs for all of those) at the University of Pittsburgh as a College of General Studies student. If you've already graduated from another college or university, it takes about 15 minutes to submit the CGS application. The courses were/are regular undergraduate lectures and labs at a major public research university. The big downside is that the premed committee isn't so excited about helping CGS students - I ended up getting my committee letter and some more general advising from my undergrad institution.

Hi,

Columbia's postbac program does not require LORs, just test scores, all transcripts (even from high school), and a 500 word statement.

Getting in is usually not the problem - the challenge is staying with it.

Good luck!
