Hello,
My current GPA is what i believe not competitive (3.2), I found a college in Wisconsin that offers a non degree seeking graduate admission. Basicaly allowing me to take graduate courses but not towards any degree. If i were to apply and get into this instituition and do graduate level work more sucessfully than my undergrad do you think this would be an acceptable next step in strengthening my application? Or do you think taking the GRE and applying for masters programs is the best way to overcome a low undergrad GPA. Thanks for your time and comments, they are appreciated more than you know.

Hey, I am currently under the same situation. But I have heard that schools prefer post-bach, compared to masters. The reason is masters shows that you are trying to find back up if you don't make it. That is not enough of a reason to make a decision. I would like to receive some more feedback on this issue.
