Hello everyone. I have been admitted to UH as a post baccalaureate non degree seeking student. I have week post that says that I won't qualify for financial aid, which sucks… My question is did anyone have any problems completing all the pre reqs as post bacc? Would you recommend changing to an actual major? Also, with post bacc can you take only the classes needed for vet school or do you still have to take any classes needed to get into a pre req class? Thanks in advance…

I'm currently finishing pre-reqs as a sort of post-bacc. I'm actually in a master's program, but it's non-thesis, and I can still take the undergrad classes I need. I am eligible for grad scholarships though, so if you can switch to a master's program (even if you don't intend to finish it), it might be a good idea. As far as class requirements, I would go meet with an advisor at UH as well as the professors of the classes you want to register for. Often you can get overrides from professors if you explain your situation and you've taken similar enough classes during your undergrad. It really depends case to case though, so it's necessary to talk to the people who actually control that kind of thing.
