Hi everyone,
I want to get your opinion about whether I should take some upper div courses during the glide year or not. Some info about myself:
Graduated from UCLA with a Bio major
Overal GPA 3.6, SGPA 3.4 (have 2 C+s one in physics and one in Biochem)
DAT 20 AA, 21 TS, 20 PAT, 18 QR, 19 R
conducted research for 2 years, have a publication
800 hours of shadowing/assisting
plenty of volunteer work
applied late june, have an interview with NOVA and was kind of rejected by Midwestern. I am currently taking some Dental lab tech courses, to improve my manual dexterity.
My question is, Do you think I should start taking the extra Biochem (the second one) this quarter, or should I wait for an acceptance before wasting money on these courses?
Any comments would be appreciated, good luck to all of us.
