I really need money for Dec Jan interviews. I'm unemployed at the moment, so I'm just wondering if I could get a credit card without a cosigner. If so what would be the best one to get? The other option I have is to take a couple of online classes in the spring and just pay for interview travel with that money. Im applying DO too and a lot of those schools have huge deposits 1000-3000 dollars. I will pay the credit card debt off as soon as I get med school loans.

Credit cards are difficult to get if you don't have any kind of credit history. I have a job and my credit limit is only $1000. Most ask about your income, and if you don't have one, it will be hard to do.

I have Navy Federal and they are pretty good maybe you can check them out

Yeah, it really depends on your credit history. I paid for almost the entire app cycle with a credit card. Just realize that if you aren't accepted, you'll be left with a few thousand dollars of high interest debt.

Get a student loan. The interest is far more forgiving. Credit cards are a nightmare if you have low credit and low income.
