Hey, I just took the DAT the other day and I was looking for some advice.

BIO 20
GChem 18
Ochem 19
RC 22
QR 16
PAT 20

TS 19
AA 19

I think my extra's are competitive: 3.81 GPA, something like a 3.6 ScienceGPA. Research in lab 2 years. Involved in clubs/fraternities/student leadership. Got my shadow hours.

I'm looking for some advice on whether my DAT is hurting me. I really don't want to take it again, but I would love to hear what you have to say. THANKS

do you really need advise?
Never hurts to score higher... =)
QR is easy to bring up though, just need to learn which problems to skip immediately, then review when you gone through the easy problems

For QR, I skip all the problems that I have no idea how to solve upon first look. And so I usually leave 5 blanks, and then I work through the rest and usually have about 13 mins left for the remaining 5 questions.
It's not about getting the hard questions right. It's all about making sure the easy ones are right, then go to the hard ones

it doesn't hurt to aim higher, but with nice consistent scores and a high gpa with good extracurriculars i think you should be ok. are you applying to state schools?

what did you use for qr?
