Interview date is 9 Jan. I was extended offer to interview on 9 Dec.

I got Michigan and Detroit in January. I got the email invitation on Dec 4th.

UT dental school at San Antonio sent me a interview 3 days ago for a interview on Jan 4th... I am so excited because it will be my first interview! So I am guessing there is still hope.

On Nov 11th I received an email stating my app was ready for review by the committee. My secondary was filled out in early Sep, and my AADSAS was not mailed until 21 Sept. Western had some issues with my LORs as I only have one from a science instructor even though I told them about this when I was thinking about applying there in August. Long story short: I am a non-standard applicant. I graduated from a service academy in 2001 and all of my pre-req science instructors were active duty military who have been moved to the corners of the earth several times over. I also last had them as instructors over a decade ago. I was in a bind for science instructors. I had my summer Microbio prof write a letter, a dentist I shadowed with, and 2 letters from senior naval officers. 1 was my last submarine commanding officer, and the other was my current commanding officer. I had to write a "waiver" email comcerning why I only had one science prof, and that held up the process.

Summary:
Western Secondary mailed: 9/15
AADSAS mailed: 9/21
App being reviewed by committe email" 11/11
Call for invite: 12/9
Interview date 1/9

ya, staying at the best western in ontario on shelby street. its 80 bucks a night, and u get a hot breakfast and manager's cocktail hour or something like that. I believe they also have a free shuttle from the airport. look into it!

I am staying the Hampton Inn (I am Hilton HHonors gold) near ONT for a AAA rate of 67 bucks. I am also planning on renting a car for my AM interview. If people need rides, I am open to it. But I know some people may be interviewing in the afternoon. I am cruising back to the airport after the interview to catch my 3 PM flight back to Seattle.

I got an invite to U. Kentucky for Jan 19. Some people have said its an interview for an alternate spot. I am going to call and ask if that is true.

I had not heard anything from the school until Thanksgiving break. The secondary application was emailed to me, so I filled it out and submitted and was invited for an interview.
