Post december interview vs rejection

So now that most schools are done giving out pre december 1st interviews I was wondering what are the chances of someone getting a post december interview. Have the odds gone down drastically at most schools or are they still decent with schools being less selective after december 1st. I was able to get my application in very early and I believe I was in the 3rd batch that was sent out by ADDSAS. SO most schools have already looked over my file and most of the schools I have yet to hear back from (applied to 16 - 2 interviews- 3 rejections) So Im wondering since most schools have looked over my file am I looking at a lot of rejections soon or are there still a decent amount of interviews to be given out.


Another question: So I dont create another thread. Isnt it a lot easier to get an interview from your state school. Im starting to get worried about Ohio state because they only have 1 more interview session or so I have heard and most people I have talked to havnt heard anything from them. You would think that if you can get interviews at other schools you should at least get an interview from your state school.

Anyway responded to either the second part is sort of a rant but any imput on interview chances would be great. Thanks 😀😀😀
 
some schools still accept many students from post-dec. 1st interviews (i.e. usc). most schools i think accept a certain percentage of their incoming class from pre-dec. 1 interviews (i have heard stats ranging from 50%-75%), and fill the rest afterwards. if you get an interview in december, i'd say you still have a pretty decent shot 🙂

and about your state school, i wouldn't say it was a LOT easier, but they do tend to be a little more lenient stats-wise.

you have pretty decent stats, i'm surprised you haven't gotten more interviews.. hang in there more will start rolling in. gluck!

With stats barely on the cusp why not be happy with the interviews in hand. How "easy" it is to get an interview is more a function of stats even when it is a state school.
 
My app was just completed 2 days ago at OSU... I hope I get one!
 
I am very happy with my 2 interviews thus far I just expected it to be more likely to get an interview from my state school and I believe everyone hopes for more interviews no matter how many they have. I just want to make sure I get in and with more interviews the chances are higher obviously. And since my application was in very early the longer I go without receiving anymore seems to be a bad sign for me since my app was in early
 
osu has 3 more interviews (nov, dec, jan) and they interview more outofstates first. just chill, i havent heard from them either.

in another thread someone said the first date is for out of staters (nov) and the dec/jan dates are for in staters
 
i have similiar. 18AA 19TS, little lower GPA, but do have MBA (may help a little)

have 2 interviews and 3 rejections and waiting to hear from 6 or 7 more.

pryda said that most school accept 50-75% of class from pre-dec interviews... anyone else know the validity of these stats.
