Hi.
Is there anyone who has turned in an OptomCAS after dismissal from a previous OD program?
I'm not sure where to post this thread, as to whom it may apply to or where to find an ounce of hope that this may not be the end of the road for my Optometric ambitions. I was a 3rd year student (for privacy purposes, I will not post the institution) and had learned all the skills necessary to be a pretty decent Optometric Clinician and was less than a year from steering home clear into rotations and NBEOs and finishing my academic experience. Unfortunately, extenuating circumstances have presented themselves during the last year and did not suffice to prove my impeded performance in the program and was dismissed.
If there is anyone who has had a similar experience or can offer any sort of feedback (negative or positive, all is welcomed) relevant to the situation, I'd highly appreciate it.
