Does anybody have knowledge of exactly when post-docs supervised hours became widespread throughout most states in order to obtain licesure. I am aware that since 2006, the requirement has started declining, as I believe it's now 13 states (since 2006) that have done away with post-doc hours requirement. However, i remain unsure when this the post-doc requirement started making its way into licensing board requirements.
Can anyone provide a historical context or narrative for how/why this developed as well?
