Post-graduate training in the US or the UK?

I snuck this question in as a reply to another thread, but I wanted to formally ask it. Would it be easier to try and enter the UK at the SHO level with permit-free training, or do all my post-graduate training in the US equivalent to an CCST and try to just get a job?

Also, does anyone know anything about forensic psychiatrists in the uk? Do they also have adult psych practices, or are they strictly forensic? (in the US you can do both, which is why I'm asking)
