is it appropriate to send additional letters of recommendation after an interview for schools that release decisions in March? I am connecting very well with one of my profs for this semester and i wanted to show this school that i am still working hard my senior year and getting stuff done

Unless your professor is connected to that particular med school in a significant way, or the school is one that encourages updates, I would refrain.
