Post-interview processing

If one's interview are/were mid-november and later, how long does notification generally take? I'm assuming they take some time to process whatever it is they have to process, and if their performance in other areas is to be considered, they process v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y 😀 , so early december notifications are not to be hoped for. i know the exact time probably differs from school to school, but does anyone have some general ideas?

I had an interview in early November (on a Friday) at MUSC and the admissions lady told me that, the wednesday after the interview the committee gets together and evaluates the interviewee and makes their decision, they don't send out until December 1st because that's adea rules, but she said that if you interview after Dec. 1st applicants usually find out a lot faster. I'm not sure if this is true for other schools.
