Post-interview response

I've contacted some of my top anesthesia residency choices post-interview to say thanks and reaffirm interest and have gotten a very short "Thanks for your interest...good luck in your anesthesia career" response through email. Is this just a generic thing that some programs send back or should I take this as a bad sign? I thought the interviews went well so I was a little surprised to get such a vague response, but has anyone else gotten this? Just curious.

who are you emailing? the program director or the coordinator? any advice from anyone about who we should contact..
