I'm a non-trad and have taken some pre-reqs this fall and received straight As in them. They are Biochem and some other advanced Bio classes. I'm already sitting on several acceptances but I'm wondering if I should update non-rolling schools with my grades? I don't have any other updates since I'm just working full time now. Is it worth updating these schools? I figured it might be significant because some are pre-req classes, but then again it's just grades. Any suggestions? Can it hurt? These are all post-interview updates.

The schools I know just "file" post interview updates, but you may have interviewed at other schools. Did any of them express an interest in your subsequent grades?

Some had information on the packets they gave us to email them grade updates and others didn't really say anything. I think some may have said they welcome updates but didn't talk about grades. Since I've received some acceptances without the grades I'm thinking they may not even matter.

@gyngyn

I'm thinking it can't hurt to send the update? I won't hear a decision from these schools until about March.

If they like updates, send them the grades!
They already like you or they wouldn't have interviewed you, though.
I doubt if more good grades will have any effect, but if they didn't discourage them, and it will make you feel better...

I'm in agreement with gyngyn.

Also, as a lot of these interview threads have mentioned, if you've been invited for interview, and you honestly think your grades were not borderline, then a new set of grades won't really be something significant. Publications, or perhaps activities of personal growth that will contribute toward your role as a physician, I imagine, are more worthwhile things that will matter to the Admissions committee, but that is my guess as just another applicant.
