Post-Senior Year Plans

Currently applying to med school. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice about what to do after senior year. I would be extremely bored at home for the whole summer. Here are some current options:

A) Travel: to India to visit relatives, or another country on vacation (2-4 weeks), spend the rest of the summer at home
B) Research at my undergraduate institution for the summer: productive and fun (6-8 weeks). Would be able to spend the majority of summer evenings with friends
C) Take a class abroad after the semester ends, somewhat productive use of time (4 weeks), spend the rest of the summer at home
D) Research abroad through a program (I don't know of any/may be hard to get into)

Advice? What are your plans/what did you do?
