Hi everyone! My name is Sean, and I'm really excited to have found an active psychology student forum. I recently received my BA from California State University and, being in the process of applying to master's/doctoral programs, have a slew of questions (and insecurities).
That said, I have recently moved back home to save money for grad school and am currently in the process of applying for research assistance/technician positions. I spent about half of my undergraduate years working as a research assistant under a professor and am hoping to find a similar position before I begin grad school (fall 2012).
In applying to these positions, I've noticed that many of the employers inquire about certifications. I have none, but am wondering if there are any that I should look into that might help make me more competitive for these positions and eventually a graduate program. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
