Hey guys: Before I submitted my AMCAS, I did what the AP guide said and wrote "AP Credit: Intro Bio", wrote the course type as AP and put in the hours I got credit for. After verification, they took away all the credits for the AP, wrote "Exempt" for each course type and added another row that says "Advanced Placement," with my total number of credit hours (41.0) and the grade as "G."

I was just wondering:
Will Med Schools be able to see the specific AP classes I took (even though it they are marked as Exempt) because for some of the secondaries I need to use AP credit. Furthermore, will they accept the AP credit as the courses are still present (they just say "exempt" next to them and each individual course does not have credit), even though the total amount of AP Credit (41.o) is there?

I called my registrar and they said this was because one of the classes with the AP credit (AP Psychology) was repeated during college. As a result, I did not EARN the AP credit for this class because I earn it later during college. This is so they do not repeat the same credit hours. As such, the total EARNED hours (Ehrs on the transcript) are 41 hours instead of the 44 hours to avoid double counting the 3 credits for AP Psychology. When you manually add up the credits, it adds up to 44, so this difference probably made the verifier just put the total earned credits at the bottom (41.o), rather than leaving all the individual credits for all the classes.

I still have 10 days to submit the academic change report, and I'm unsure whether or not to do it. Since the first batch of secondaries is not released till July 1st, and they reply in 5 days or less, theres no reason in not trying to fix it, but I wanted to double check this logic pans out.

Sorry for the length, and thanks!
