How early did all you submit your AADSAS? I have heard from UF (9/11) and Tufts (9/18) and that is all. I have applied to a lot of those schools on this board. Just worried.

Usually they offer you a couple of choices. You can always request a later date if you wish, but typically it's best to take the soonest date they offer. This especially holds true if they are on a rolling admissions basis.

Further, try to get you interviews in PRIOR to Dec. 1 so they can notify you then of all your acceptances.

One advise for you guys, since all of you have great DAT scores and fantastic GPA.

Try to schedule your first choice interview first. All of those second tier school can wait until Jan or Feb.

If you hear from your first choice on Dec 1st, you can cancel the rest but save tons of money.

I know ppl who interviewed late Feb at upenn and early march for uop last year but still got accepted and even scholarship.

And for those of you who aim for those west coast schools: They interview later than others. So, be patient. Just keep up with your work, and you will all get in by end of Feb.

for those who are going to UCONN for an interview, you need to know this.

make sure you know where you are staying. there are many hotel around UCONN with diff $$. however, make sure that you either have a ride from the airport or that the hotel has a shuttle to and from the airport.

the cost of taxi from the airport oneway to my hotel was $70.00.
yes, thats correct. one way $70.00 and roundtrip $140.00.

i think that if you stay at remada inn, they have a shuttle to/from the airposrt for only $11.

No, I have not heard from Marquette yet. Mr. Trecek claims the committee gets together on Oct. 15th and at that time they begin to select those students who they want to interview. Sorry for the confusion!

No I don't... sorry. I am pretty sure you are able to pick your date (more or less). In other words, I don't think they send you a letter telling you "you have been selected for an interview on ___ at ___ time.

Marquette Nov.10 - it will only take 2.5 hours-yay!

I am a bit confused, however. They said they are offering interviews Nov 10, 11, and 12. When I called and scheduled my interview, they said that they are only offering interviews in the afternoon on the 10th. Also, there is one interview offered every hour, so a max of 5 will be on the 10th (12pm- 4pm). So at most, they will be interviewing 21 applicants over the three days (9-4 on the 11th and 12th). This seems low to me, considering that there is room for 40 WI residents. Anyone have any clue about this??

I assume you are a WI resident? I don't know the answer to your question, but I am going to visit and tour the school on Nov. 17th. I am an IL resident.

That number does seem low. I have heard of schools not interviewing everyone they are accepting. They may try to get in as many as possible, but not all.

Regarding Marquette,

I spoke to Mr. Trecek last week, he told me that they will be interviewing close to 40 WI residents before Dec. 1. He also said that you don't need an interview to be accepted even if you are in-state. Sounds to me like everyone interviewed will get an acceptance, so congrats pixies_fan. I am still hoping for an interview...let me know how it goes.

I will be at Marquette on the 11th. Its been a little while since I scheduled this, but I think I am the first person in the afternoon. Although I get there at 12:30 (lunch, tour), my interview starts at 2:00. I think the next interview is at 2:30. So, if you do the math, that's ~4 interviews in the afternoon, and probably 4 in the morning. So, your estimation of ~20 interviews might be correct? I don't know for sure though. I believe they interviewed ~45 people last year over a 3 day period. Maybe they are cutting back on the number of interviews- but don't quote me on that! Good luck on the 10th!!

Did you get invited there or did you scheduled it yourself??
last year when i interviewed there with Mr. trecek, it was only me so it lasted an hour followed by a 20 min tour of the facility guided by Mr. Trecek. I was so shocked!
