I don't want to waste my time (or money) on applications where I'll be rejected, so anyone care to give their results?

One Website:
http://www.mdapplicants.com . Hunt around there. Be foreworned: Most of the people on the site have above average stats. Don't get discouraged!

Interview: july 11th 2004
accepted : aug 18, 2004

a quote from my interviewer..." I dont worry bout MCAT scores unless they are below 24." ....it made me smile 🙂

It would probably be of more use to you to check out program websites and the msar or mdapplicants to find this info.
You are so keen on not wasting your time, that maybe you should not ask to waste others time on info that you can easily find from a multitude of sources.

Additionally stats are only part of the story. Because someone else got rejected or accepted to a school with similar stats in no way indicates you do or do not have a shot at that school.

Yzia, if you are so concerned about others wasting your time, stop writing negative responses to every single post you read....please

but igor is bitter, viktor never gave him any credit

im pretty much with YzIa.

in the past few years, people have gone to great lengths to post mdapplicants profiles for just this purpose. its best to use them.

ahhh....how i yearn to hear those words...crazy stuff

Wow..there are so many people who have sealed their fates before they've even seen their test scores 😱..Why? What good does it do? It's really disheartening to see certain people thinking so negatively about themselves..🙁

Have faith and believe in yourselves..if you count yourself out of the game before you've even seen what you're capable of, then how will you ever succeed in life??? how will you ever win???

It's subconcious antijinxing. By accepting that they are in the worst case scenario, they will not be negatively surprised by the test score. It's a good defense mechanism, I think. It also jinxes doing bad, another good idea.

i think myself and liverotcod both broke through in face of this phenomenon in the "predict your scores thread". truly a beautiful moment.

Well Pinkertinkle,

I guess I didn't think of it that way..As someone who doesn't believe in luck (my faith lies elsewhere, as indicated by my quote 😀) , it was a little difficult for me to understand why there was such an overflow of negative talk about the process...Regardless, if that's what they're doing, then I respect it and will say no more 🙂

Aw, Psycho, what are your stats? You seem so hyper about the whole process, and that makes me think that you aren't as bad as you think you are. I read about your whole being sick for the MCAT, really bad luck dude 🙁

I say apply anyways and wish you the best of luck! 👍 :luck: :luck:

all that i have for stats is GPA...not much to go on: roughly 3.9 sciences and 3.8 overall; and i'll guess a 24 on m MCAT 🙁 I'm not really hyper but i feel so far behind in this whole process and changing majors and all. thanks
