Hi guys. I'm planning on applying to some postbac programs in 2008 and I'd like some advice. I haven't finished my undergrad degree yet. I plan to graduate by spring 08. My current GPA is about 3.4-3.5. I took my SATs about 6 years ago with 1040 (500 verbal 540 math). I'm an air force medic with over 3 years of clinical experience. What are my chances of getting into a good postbac program? Should I take the GRE? Do I have enough experience? I'm thinking of getting certified as a EMT-B and CPR instructor if it helps. I'd like to go to one of these schools.
Scripps (#1 choice), UPenn, Bryn Mawr, NYU, Columbia, Groucher, or Tufts.

Please give me any advice you have to offer.

What's your undergrad major in? If you're interested in Scripps, you can call Jodi and talk to her about how competitive your application would be. Your stats sound a little light for the Scripps program but they do like well-rounded individuals with clinical experience.

I'm getting a degree in Asian Studies. Scripps is my top choice only because it's right by my house. Yeah, I got an a-mail from Jodi saying that I need a 1250 on the GRE.
So how about the other schools I listed? I read Columbia is easy to get into, but all the people who posted wrote about their GPA but not their test scores.
