Hey,

I was looking to take a chem+physio class to buffer my gpa and I can either

1. do it at UC berk (cost about 6k)
2. do it at csu/sanjose state/usf/etc for about 3k

I was also looking to get a letter from one of the professors.

Which would you recommend? Would it be okay to go to a "lower tier" school so I can save some $$$.

UC Berkeley or Berkeley Extensions?
Either way, go for the cheapest route. Some schools may restrict you from taking required courses at community college, but any 4 year university, whether it's Cal State or a UC will do. There is no discrimination at that level. Just make sure you pull off the As.

4.0 at Cal State >>>>> lower GPA at Berkeley (especially if it's post-bacc)
