Hello! I’m currently in the Harvard Extension Premed Program and working through my med school prereqs. I’ve noticed that aside from the core med courses, a lot of the electives I’m planning to take (like Clinical Anatomy and Physiology I or Calculus I) are either synchronous webinars or fully asynchronous.
Since I’ve heard that med schools generally prefer in-person classes, I’m a little confused about why so many of the HES classes aren’t offered in person. Has anyone taken these types of classes here and had issues when applying to med schools? I don't know if I should specifically look at courses that are in-person, or considering taking a few outside of HES? Any insight would be super appreciated.
