Hello All,

Before I start, I wanted to note that I did search the thread to see if a post like this exists and I could only find sporadic posts in various threads over the years.

I am currently half way through internship and have a number of PD interviews that are rapidly approaching. I was curious if anyone could share their experience interviewing for clinically-oriented PD positions. In applying and interviewing for internships, I was thoroughally prepared and ended up matching at my top choice. In preparing for PD interviews, I am feeling burnt out and based off feedback I have gotten, feel like there Is no need to prepare as much.

If possible, would people mind sharing any questions they may have been asked, how well they felt like they needed to know the site and rotations before interviewing (of course you want to know what is offered and the types of training opportunities available; however, did you feel the need to study/memorize elements of the brochure), and if it felt very formal or more informal and more about fit?

Lastly, did anyone have experience negotiating timelines? If I am fortunate enough to get an offer, I have heard the turn around time is very fast. Given I have interviews a week or two before other interviews, I worry I will have to make a decision before having the chance to interview elsewhere. I understand this is how the real world works, but given I had to pay for my apps on APPACAS, I think it is pretty crappy to force students to make a decision if another site has a later interview date.

Thank you!
