Hallo everyone!! So my situation is a bit complicated. I am a foreign medical student and I have the luck to have already been offered a postdoc research fellowship position in a highly accredited institution. On the 4th of September I complete my Peds rotation and sit the exam and this means the end of my responsibilities as a medical student. Unfortunately though, it won't be until November that I get my medical degree in hand. Therefore I was wondering if it is at all possible that along with the bank receipt, I mail an official letter from the Dean of my School stating that I have successfully completed all my undergrad. years and I am to be conferred my degree in November. Any input will be much appreciated!!!

Why do you need proof that you have finished with your degree? If you have already been offered a position, and they just want assurance that you will in fact graduate with a degree, then I would think your school's dean would be willing to write such a letter. Albeit, I am probably not qualified to answer your question 🙂

Thanx for the responses!!! Yes, I am going to ask them on Monday. I just wanted to see whether my thought about asking for an official Dean's Letter seems sensible or not. I am glad it wasn't rejected at once!!!!

can I ask smt on these words in bold? Post-doc doesn't imply a phd first?
And this research fellowship was offered as a result of networking via a med prof of yours or by a direct e-mailing contact? thanks!
