Hey guys- I need advice.
I did research this past spring in the emergency department and found out today that I am invited to do a poster presentation to present my research. Awesome! right? well, its on sunday the 8th and I take my step one on Tuesday the 10th. 😱
I really want to do the poster presentation, its in emergency med- which I want to go into and I did it at the place where I want to do my residency- so I really want to make a good impression- which means I can't be focused on the USMLE while presenting.
Should I change my USMLE date?
Should I not do the presentation?
Should I run away and join the circus?
oh, the presentation happens to be very close to here, so I could drive there and back in one day.
thx

Poster presentations aren't a big deal, unless your total time commitment (drive to and from, time manning the poster, etc.) is less than 3 hours have someone else in the group present it for you.
