Hello Everyone,

I submitted my primary today and realized there might be a potential mistake in my application. Not sure how big of a mistake it is, but here's the background.

I worked as a medical assistant during the following periods:
1.) 12/2020 to 05/2022- 1600 Hours
2.) 06/2023 to 11/2023- 500 Hours
3.) 07/2024 to 07/2025 (Anticipated)- 1000 hours

On my application, it's listed as:

1.) 12/2020 to 05/2022- 1600 Hours
2.) 06/2023 to 06/2024- 500 Hours
3.) 07/2024 to 07/2025 (Anticipated)- 1000 hours

My hours were all correctly listed but as you can see the end date for the second completed portion is not listed as 11/2023 but rather 06/2024. What are your thoughts? Should this be addressed or should I just leave it alone.

Thank you so much for your help and advice

It is still 500 hours and it is still all in the past. I don't see where working that many hours through last November or that many hours through this June is that big a deal. Pretend you never reviewed this after submitting it.

Leave it alone. It's not going to be an issue.

Got it thank you so much! If I am asked about it, what do you think is the best way to address it?

For example, if they say: So we see that you only worked 500 hours between 06/2023 and 06/2024 (1 year), where as your previous bouts were 1600 hours in a slightly higher period (one year and 6 months).

In my experience, no one on adcoms I have served with has ever said,

Sheldon Cooper Comedy GIF by CBS

I mean, technically you're still correct. We don't need to know the last six months had zero hours.
