The Division of Plastic Surgery in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas has a potential opening for a clinical/research fellow in our program.
We would like to invite preliminary residents, general surgery residents, and unmatched 4th year medical students who are looking for a research position in plastic surgery to apply. There will likely be more than one large-scale project which will be well organized and "ready to go" for the fellow, and we expect at least 20 publications in one year. In addition to a great deal of clinically-oriented research, the fellow will be exposed to a high volume of clinical cases.
Current surgical residents with at least 1-2 years of general surgery experience would be preferred. Applicants with no clinical residency experience will be expected to commit to 2 years.
Please send your C. V., personal statement, and any letters of recommendation to [email protected], if you are interested. Medical school records, USMLE transcripts, ABSITE scores, etc. will be requested at a later date if your application is considered for further review.
