Glycogen, I was confused about 5 too. I know what paracrine is, but I don't have any detailed background about cytokinnies and prostaglandins. All I know is that C is all hormones which don't act in a paracrine manner. Nitric Oxide is a hormone too. I guess A should be paracrine molecules. When are we gonna get the answers?
I just googled Nitric oxide and found out that it has some paracrine functions too. growth factors are paracrine too. I think the right answer is D [a and b]

Hey Guys nice job so far Ill post the answers within the hour sorry harrygt gana let people have a shot for a few more mins

No prob buddy. Keep it up. These were some nice questions relative to the level of DAT. Where did you get them from?

Thanks I appreciate that. I remembered that I collected a bunch of old questions my teacher asked in previous years and collection from other sources from my intro class that I kept on word and saved what I thought were hard ones. Then last night I looked at them and posted some relevant ones for the DAT.
As for the I II III type I also hate them because you can know 2 or 3 things and be unsure of one detail and get NO credit at all. They stink. I have a few more really good questions that are DAT style and make you think a little I will try and post them early next week.

Ahhh crap..1 wrong. Can you explain how Nitric Oxide answers correctly?? Since it is a gas, couldn't it just diffuse freely and have many effects in the body?

Nice test btw.
