First off, so far I have been studying for my DATs for about two weeks but not as intensely as everyone else seems to be studying. I can only ever manage to study two hours at a time, whihc is pathetic, but with work ,class and research I'm just extremely exhausted. Sooo I wanted to know what you guys would suggest, how long do you think I should give myself to study? Is two months good if I'm studying like 2hrs-3hrs weekdays, 5-6hrs weekends and since I'm taking Orgo2 I'm sure this will supplement my DAT studying.

I also wanted to know where I could get more practice exams, so far I have Kaplan BLue Book, Top Score, and I also have DAT Destroyer.

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Two months should be good...although if you're trying for the 2008 cycle, you might be a bit late.

As for practice exams, try DAT achiever.

O ok thanks. No I am trying for the 2009 cycle. I just want to make sure I have time to re-prepare if I screw up.

Another quick question. As far as DAT destroyer goes along ,do you think I should just look at the questions and refer to a textbook for any concepts(Q and As) I don't remember or that I don't understand? I feel like that would be a good guide. I am using Kaplan for GChem and Orgo but I feel like I remember most of it. Is this the way other ppl study?

hey, i started off with top score and then achiever, and to really bulk up i used the destroyer. the explanations in the back of the book for orgo and gchem are very well written- i think you can probably learn just as much from the explanations in the book. dont get aggravated if you get a lot wrong in the beginning, i certainly did. just pace yourself and keep at it.
