Ok so this questions is for people who have already taken the NBDE part I exam. So how did the scores that you got on the released practice exams compare to your real board score?

thanks

I didn't really do any released/unreleased exams graded or timed, but for sure there were very few if any repeats in the exam I took last week
I think your best bet would be to study decks and the Kaplan book

Read: graded or timed. Just wanted to let him know I didn't take time into consideration so I couldn't tell him about that aspect.

gotcha. so what if i dont have kaplan books, will decks cover it to get a 90? from your last week experience. was it computerized version?

I did the released exams before giving the actual test. i think we score about 5 points less than what we score in hese tests. When i would do the released exams i would score around 92 to 94 on an average according to the score conversion sheet. But i think from my experience that the actual exam was actually difficult than the released exams and i ended up getting 88 in the actual exam.there were a few repeats from the papers but not many, may be just about 8 to 10. hope that helps

if you are studying the dental decks and taking released exams, you'll recognize a lot of the questions since the decks are written from old questions. that's why your score on practice tests may be much higher than on your actual exam. i didn't realize this when i was studying and i wish that i had.

Looks like all 'gunit' does is put up posts to sell materials and does not have any interest in being a part of the SDN community and helping people.

If you were to click on the user name in left side column and then click again on 'find more posts'. u will see all posts have messages to sell materials and nothing else, and has the audacity to call SDN memebers as clowns. Even if I was desperate to buy reading materials, I would never buy from gunit
