So I have the TopScore software and the OAT destroyer, but I feel like both of these sources are way harder than the actual physics portion on the OAT. The actual OAT has a max of 2-3 calculations for problems on the physics portion, and a bunch of conceptual questions. I feel like using the Destroyer will really mess me up, and make me overthink problems. I liked Chad's videos and quizzes but I want more practice, practice that will be more relatable to the actual OAT. Anybody have any suggestions? Please help 🙂

This is really hard to say. My best advice would be to do the harder problems. What makes them hard? Why are you using the formulas? What is the point of one method over the other? In physics, you dont just blindly apply formulas. You must understand the concept first. Once you have that conceptual understanding, you understand why you need to apply a certain formula. It takes practice and time. Memorizing formula's in my opinion is not the best way to go but I know a lot of places encourage that. Try to watch Chad's videos again for a better conceptual understanding. I think I watched a few of his physics videos before and he tries to give you real life scenarios. Separate topics youre having trouble with from topics you arent. Maybe go back to a textbook or something to read specifics in your area of difficulty. Good luck!

Awwwww thank you so much!! That was so helpful. You are 100% right. I will try the harder problems and focus on the concepts instead of just memorizing.

If you have questions, feel free to post on here! But yeah, just do the harder ones. You may feel like doing them is pointless, but i think that you'll actually end up learning more even if you dont realize it right away. Also, multistep problems are pretty useful. Lets say a question on the OAT asks you for something specific. It may be possible that before you find that answer, you need to solve for something else. Maybe you'll end up looking at the question and say "Oh wait! Ive done something like this before, but before i find what the question asks i need to find a velocity first". I hope that makes sense haha.
