Can I graduate from an American dental school and practice in Canada? Since the USD is so weak it would be great if I could move up there and pay off some debt. How difficult would this be?

It's supposed to be the absolute easiest thing in the world to graduate in the states and then practise in Canadia, which is why a lot of us go down there for school 🙂

I don't know the exact details but I know a dentist who graduated from BU and is practising up here now - he said it was really easy to come back

you have to take the canadian boards and the licensing exam for the province in which you will be practicing.

however, if your concern is to move to canada to pay off your debt, i don't know if it's really worth it simply because the dollars are on par. i thought dentists in the US made more than their canadian counterparts. if anyone can enlighten me with some stats that would be dope hahaha.

One USD is trading for 1.02 CAD right now. If you consider the high Canadian income tax, 14% sales tax, higher gasoline price, higher prices on practically everything else, you're not saving any more. But with leftist US presidency in the making, taxes here will surely catch up to you Canadians within a few year.

Yeah but 1 USD historically has equaled like a buck forty canadian - so you make way more money. Also you don't have to pay for any of your employees healthcare

A lot of dentists I know don’t pay for their employees’ healthcare. I don’t offer health benefit to my employees either. If you want to make more money, practice in states like NV, AZ, and TX. A lot of my friends moved to Las Vegas b/c they make nearly twice as much as what they used to make in California.

Hey now. We need the leftys to once again pay back the debt of the righties and restore the value of the dollar. We can only take the fiscally irresponsible right until they rack up a certain amount of debt.

By raising taxes on the wealthy business owners who help creat jobs in America?

If I got a fat tax break I wouldn't hire more employees or just give my money away to them in the form of raises I would buy a new lexus
