Can I graduate from an American dental school and practice in Canada? Since the USD is so weak it would be great if I could move up there and pay off some debt. How difficult would this be?
One USD is trading for 1.02 CAD right now. If you consider the high Canadian income tax, 14% sales tax, higher gasoline price, higher prices on practically everything else, you're not saving any more. But with leftist US presidency in the making, taxes here will surely catch up to you Canadians within a few year.
A lot of dentists I know dont pay for their employees healthcare. I dont offer health benefit to my employees either. If you want to make more money, practice in states like NV, AZ, and TX. A lot of my friends moved to Las Vegas b/c they make nearly twice as much as what they used to make in California.Yeah but 1 USD historically has equaled like a buck forty canadian - so you make way more money. Also you don't have to pay for any of your employees healthcare
