Does anyone have any recommendations for how to practice interviews without any "professional" individuals? I've recently relocated to a new area so I don't know anyone that has experience with professional interviews like those from medical school. How can I prepare myself in these circumstances? Am I at a heavy disadvantage compared to my peers who have done mock interviews?

Prepare general answers to common questions

Audio record yourself responding as if an interviewer had just asked you a questions (to self-assess)

Be overtly social with people (chat up an Uber driver, people in line at the store, coffee shops, etc.)

Practice makes perfect, so people who have experience with these should do better at interviews.

Asking acquaintances to help with interviews is actually better than asking close friends.
