There is a free practice kaplan DAT at my university this saturday. I haven't taken the DAT and I have just started studying my purple book. I'm done with all of my math, Ochem, gen chem and bio in school. Is it worth my time to go take this? Would it be better to spend the time studying?

If it's a free practice exam, why not? What do you have to lose?

It's good to have some simulation of true testing conditions at some point I would think.

I thought it helped. Only difference is it is written instead of on the computer.

It wouldn't hurt if you wouldn't be doing anything spectacular or worthwhile at that time. You may even get an awesome Kaplan shirt or cup along with the sales pitch. Nothing like a cupboard of Kaplan cups.

I took it and thought it was helpful.

i didnt realize that i forgot everything only after i took my first practice DAT
