Good evening all, I need some help. Going on a cruise ship from june 27-july 4. My exam is jul 18th. Are there any prep companies who allow their practice tests to be downloaded and taken offline? I'll buy them of course. I currently have all TPR exams as well as the AAMC but I have to login to the internet for the duration of the exam. The rates are like 65 cents a minute 🙁.

I don't really know what to do. I feel really screwed, any solutions? I really don't want to push my exam back. I mean I could take the old mcat practice tests because I have those as pdf versions and maybe add a psych practice test to it i guess.

Btw, yes i know this is vacation and I should have fun. I'll make do and still have time for sangria.
Any solutions? Thank you!

Haha idk of any offline FLs, I wish companies made them available offline too. I suppose you could get in a couple of FLs before your cruise and then just do content review during your cruise

Yeah. I'm actually going to try that. But, I'm looking at the self-assessment packages right now, Im thinking when im at sea, I can do those. Do you know if those are pdf? Or do I have to sign in to do those too?

Other than that, I might have to suck it up, pray I get WiFi when we dock somewhere, get a whif of some Barcelona air and take the exam.

Ughh..

you must have mad discipline if you are going to be doing content review on a cruise.
I'm an optimistic guy lol. We all gotta make sacrifices. Ive been waking up at 7am every other day to simulate testing conditions so I believe that will contribute to a nice rhythm.

I figured the only plausible solution is screenshotting every passage and question on my tpr dashboard. And printing out a pdf of solutions and doing some post phrasing old school.

Haha well you still have two weeks after your cruise before your exam. And you have a few weeks before you leave for the cruise so do as many FL exams as you can before then. Maybe just use that time on the cruise to brush up on some content (that way you only have to bring books with you) and have some fun before the exam. It's only one week, and if you feel like losing that one week will compromise your ability to do well on the exam, maybe you are not quite ready to take it on July 18th.

Yeah that's the plan, i don't know if I plan on ditching the rest of my TPR exams all together but i'll do them early just so i can recognize some weaknesses for targetting my practice passages/review for the cruise.

It'll probably go something like
2 cars passages everyday plus
June 25th (Flight) - Content (Electricity) + Force Feeding of Metabolism review
26th- Biochem (contd.) and Electricity (Land in Barca)

(on boat)
27th - AAMC Practice Guide questions (1/2) ) review
28th- AAMC Practice Guide questions (2/2) review
29th- passages / optics/acids bases, hormones flash cards, amino acids flash cards
30th- passages- physiology random selection, hormones flash cards, amino acids flash cards
July 1st- question pack 1/ review
july 2nd- question pack 2/ review
3rd- content/passages
(off boat)

4th- rest (arrival)
Hopefully i can target these for my FL schedule
July 5th- TBR FL 2
7th- EK FL 2
11th- AAMC 1
13th- EK FL 3,
15th- if time permits TBR 3
17th- rest/lift/watchfriends
18th-mcat
19th on- cry

this is a best case scenario of course but due to the time crunch and conditions i believe this is the best i can do without overstressing. I can always cut out 1 or 2 FLs.
Here are the results of my previous tests
(5/17) TPR Course Test 1 - 493
(5/31) TPR Course Test 2- 497
(6/6) TPR Course Test 3 -- 499
Yeah I know scores kinda suck not hitting 500 ever :/ but seems like i'm doing a somewhat okay job during my post-phrasing considering a decent increase between exams.
Gotta stay positive no matter what. Determined to hit 506+.
