Can an American trained dentist practice overseas?

Anywhere worth practicing you would have to recieve a dental degree in the respective country, i.e. Australia, Europe similar to what International students have to do to practice in the US (advanced standing, completing 3rd & 4th years of dental school + licensing exams). I would argue you can still make more money in the States though. If you just want to do pro-bono work in underdeveloped countries there are lots of opportunities...

I read once that you can practice in Australia after taking a relatively simple licensing exam, no additional schooling, but you have to go to an under-served area. But the areas are probably under-served for a reason, you know?
