Which test grade accurately represents how you will do on the actual mcat?
The aamc grading scale has a very little curve and although I find myself getting many more questions correct on the aamc test, my scores are much higher on the Kaplan(has a more forgiving curve).
Got the test tomorrow so some immediate responses would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hey, I looked at some polls here on SDN, and turns out there is the same number of people who think AAMC tests are exactly like the MCAT and the same number of people thinks that they are nothing like the MCAT. Therefore, it is hard to say, "aha yes...test so and so should be exactly like your test" as there is obvious variance. Moreover, the question you ask 1 day prior to your test is not going to help you in any way as you are bound to receive a plethora of opinions which are bound to be incosistent with your strengths and more importantly, your MCAT experience. For one, I scored 3 or more (can't remember) points above my highest practice test, and my friend said that he did better in every section on the MCAT as he was more focused. Will you be more lucky or focussed during your test? Who knows. I think the best advice anybody can give you now is: stop reading these forums and staring at your practice scores, and relax, meditate and envision tomorrow as a time where you perform to the best of your ability. Really no sense studying now, you are fully charged with knowledge, and the best you can do is charge yourself with positive energy and get ready to explode once you click "End" to the silly tutorial awaiting you at tomorrow's test.
Good luck, and hopefully you rock this silly beast tomorrow!

I took the MCATs just a couple of weeks ago, and I agree with you that the AAMC tests are slightly easier than the kaplan. I think the AAMC are much closer to the real one, except make sure to take AAMC 8,9, and 10 as they are much more difficult and realistic compared to the earlier MCATS. My scores decreased as I took more, b/c I personally thought they got much more challenging. And the real MCAT is much more difficult than the practice ones too, but from what I have heard the curve is better as well.

So I should expect a curve similar to that of kaplan's?
I have the practice 8 but not the key. Anyone have that?

I know, i've been trying to convince myself that all day. BTW, your right and I will log off now and relax my mind. Thanks for the quick answers guys. Wish me luck!!!!

Honestly you're missing the most important point. I take it tomorrow as well btw. It doesn't matter if the real thing is like Kaplan or AAMC, all that matters is how you do relative to everyone else that takes it that same day. The curve is entirely subject to how the rest of us do tomorrow. If we all suck there will probably be a pretty generous curve, otherwise...
