Hey all,

I paid for a subscription to pcatprofessor for June 2007 PCAT and it was overall pretty good. I'd say the math sections on it were not pertinent to the real PCAT (with its many recent changes which include more calculus and no geometry). The test is all about timing and if you take the full length pcatprofessor tests and don't fudge your time allotted, it's actually quite useful. Just remember that the real test is paper-based, so you need to also consider that your actual speed will be a little slower since you can't just click on answers quickly like the pcatprofessor tests. The chemistry and biology sections are quite good, but I do feel like the real PCAT is changing (less questions, but more thought-provoking, time consuming). The questions on pcatprofessor are very straightforward and a little on the easier side. Hope this helps!

If you go to the Harcourt site, they offer two old PCAT tests. It's $21 but I would think worth it to get some real practice.

hello. i paid the 21 dollars but it seems like i am getting only one practice exam. (practice = 1/2 # of the test questions compared to the real exam, however it is still a good indication i guess). if it is for 2 exams, where should i be looking to get my second exam? or do i have to pay another 21 for the second exam?

thank you =)

TopScore is good in the sense that it offers a lot more practice questions. The downside is that they do not offer explanations to the answers. They just give you the correct answer choice. It was definitely the most challenging prep tool that I used.

I took the practice Kaplan Chemistry section and I was wondering how many should I be getting correct or how many can I miss to get 85+ percentile on the actual pcat Chemistry section. I know that there isn't a direct correlation between the two but I was wondering for those of who have taken both exams how many did you miss on the Kaplan practice exam and scored above 85?

is the real pcat harder or easier than the topscore pro/kaplan practice exams? i am using the kaplan material and topscore pro at the same time, yet i find topscore noticeably harder - is it cuz i am not getting any explanations =/

any feedback will be appreciated =)
