I'm starting this thread to hopefully get some opinions out there from the SDN world. Yes, I've used the search function, and yes, I've been reading the boards for a while, and no I haven't seen a decent answer to this before.

What do you feel are quality practice FL's other than Kaplan and AAMC, at least 7-10 (personally, I've taken these already)? Does one go with BR or TPR?

I'm asking this not just for myself, but so there's also an easily searchable thread concerning this topic for members, rather than having to find a singular post somewhere in an obscure thread.

Gold Standard is good. You can get 10 of them for cheap on eBay and/or on their website. The tests aren't AAMC, but they are good review and the curves are insanely hard, so your real score is likely to be better than what you are getting on those!

Very cool. By "not AAMC" do you mean they're easier/tougher, or the question/passage styling doesn't compare to what people are saying the test is currently like or the old AAMCs?

bump.

Also, does anyone know if it's possible to get the Kaplan FL tests without being in the class or anything?? I took the class, but my online access expired.

GS- The verbal is nothing like the real thing, but its good reading practice. The PS is mostly content based, and the BS is fairly close to the older AAMC (that didn't require that much reading comprehension). So far, I have done 1-8, and have no real complaints other than the fact 7 and 8 have insanely hard PS sections.

Jagger, if its your first time taking the class, you can do their "higher score guarantee" policy and get it for free. That's what I did this past year since when I first took the test my score was lower than the goal they I gave them when the original class began.
