How do the practice test scores correlate to the actual boards?? Just took a practice (3.5 hours) at prometric and got a print out of a score-I have no idea what the h..... it means?

Anyone comment on this??? How well should we be doing?? I'm starting to do more qbnk than studying-seems to be higher yield.

You probably did the 150 questions that the NBME sends to all people who register for Step 1. I have not come across any solid correlations btwn that score and Step 1 score. The only things I recall hearing are that those questions do show up on the real thing and that most people agree that those 150 are a little shorter and easier than Step 1 as a whole.

It seems most people report scores >75% on that one.

Hope it's not the same test coz I did not get 75 plus. Took it through prometric testing center. Looks like I've got some work to do. The good news is the questions weren't as long as I anticipated and time didn't seem to be a big deal.
