Hey are there any Dentists on here that can shed some light on the market in NYC? I'm from NYC and I have heard mixed things about the job market and how much Dentists make on average (as both associates and owners.)

What's your stance on treating HMO and medicaid patients? Unless you have a list of publications and are recognized in dentistry as being a "great", you'll be doing lots of scut for a loooong time.
