For all of you who are practicing dentists can you tell me about the positives and negatives of dentistry? Are you satisfied with dentistry, do you think you made the right decision? Is the 350 k debt a Canadian student faces worth it? Can you explain the stress level?
Thank you and keep up the drilling!

howdysir, in addition to this forum you should check out www.dentaltown.com . There are tons of dentists there who are willing to help out us students. Go ahead and search the forums there or post your own question. You'll get more information there than you'll know what to do with. 🙂

Thank you sir, I can't register though because I can't answer the qualifying question which is: In dentistry, what does the "O" stand for in MOD? Do you know the answer so I can register? Thanks. 🙂

Thank you, it worked! It's nice to have all these dentists/pre-dentists around when you need one. 😀

I'm not moderator at DentalTown, but I will assure you that in your position, you are certainly welcome to register and ask these questions there. I've been contributing there for a while.

And the answer IS "occlusal". I've been an endodontist for 20 years, but when I was at your point in my schooling, I didn't even know how many baby teeth people had, let alone what an MOD was. I also recommend that you go there with this question, as I don't know how many experineced dentists are on this Forum. I'm here occasionally because my son is applying to dental school right now and I'm curious as to what troubles and questions you all have.
