Can US trained Podiatrists practice in other countries? If so, where?

Canada ofocourse:laugh:

Australia (but there salaries are very low)

Middle eastern countries like Saudi Arabia and Kuwait (Salary is good plus good benefits)

South Africa

UK (different scope of practice- chripody)

Are 1st year classes THAT bad moll?

No, I like school. My boyfriend is interested in leaving the country someday. That is why I'm asking. I love the Chicago area so I'm quite happy here.

Speaking of practicing in other countries, are there programs out there in which DPM's can practice on a volunteer basis (similiar to doctors without borders)?

Yes, and most schools have local and international missions. DMU is working on an international program where students will study in Africa and practice while taking classes for a term. From what I understand, this is open to DPM students as well as DOs, PAs, DPTs.
