I know you were an SIU applicant and from the statistics I'v looked at I wouldn't sweat it too much at this point. Last year they gave out 110 interviews and 83 acceptances. That's like an 80% chanceif you had an interview. I know that helped calm my nerves before dec 2nd, hope it does you.

Yeah.. I hope that by the end of this cycle I will fall into that ~80% for SIU. Thanks for your words. Hopefully we'll be classmates 🙂

I checked the 2017 UIC thread and they seem to send out another wave of acceptances on the second week of January. I don't know whether they send them out to the people on the waitlist or the "silent" list.

I'm hoping that its the silent list...has anyone been flat out rejected by them yet? also, figures that the next wave wont come until after the deposits for the first offers are due!
