Hello guys, this is my first time posting on SDN. I'm 24, and have been an RDH (registered dental hygienist) for three years. I'm planning to become a dentist in the next 10 years.

My education background: High school gpa: 4.0, graduated in 2010.
1 year of university. I took some entry level courses. (Maths/Calculus, Stat, Biol, Chem, Physics, etc) My major was statistics, and I didn't have any passion for it so I didn't continue.
I started hygiene school after that, and studied for 3 years and achieved my diploma of hygiene. I found my passion in dental hygiene/ dentistry. I loved loved loved it! (My GPA was 3.94)

I worked for 3.5 years after I graduated in gen offices, pedo offices and ortho offices. Now I've saved up some $$ and I still feel young and would like to give myself another chance and try university.

I'm planning to start university in Sept, 2018. I need some help with choose a program/ area of study for my B.Sc.

I really don't like Bio (Biology, Biochem, Biomedical sciences, Anatomy).
I loved pharmacology, pathology and nutrition when I was in hygiene school. I learn better with examples that can be related to daily life.

Any suggestion would be helpful! Thank you!!

The major you choose does not matter too much, just make sure you do whatever prerequisites that are needed for dental school. I personally would do nutrition but that's just a personal preference. It's really up to you. Altho do be aware that you need to be taking hard science/technical classes as well for a science GPA. Some schools might tell you that you need to be taking 2 science classes each semester, I don't know about having exactly 2 for EVERY semester but do try to take some. Also be aware that your upper divisions may not count as "science" for your science GPA if you take nutrition. For the other two, I'm not too sure I would ask a pre health advisor or look into the predental club at that university for more specific information.
