It looks really good to adcoms when you perform well in upper level science courses. I know some schools (like baylor) look very closely at applicants performance in upper level biology courses. Histology is a really good course to take.👍

Yes it is important to do well in those courses. You want to give dental schools every reason to believe that you can handle dental school. Once you start school, your course load is only going to go up!
