I just want to thank every one that is involved with posting comments and donating their time to answer questions, squash myths, and bringing so much pride to the Osteopathic profession. I also would like to thank all the DO's before us that helped keep the profession alive. For instances, in the 1960's the osteopathic profession almost came to an end in California. With the merging of the California Medical Association and California Osteopathic Association, 86% of DO's gave up their DO degree in exchange for an MD degree, for $65 dollars and attending a seminar. If it wasn't for the 14% that kept their DO degree, the Osteopathic profession would not be as strong as it is today, in California.

Thank you.

Since im here, JaggerPlate I have a question for you since you seem to be really knowledgeable on here: Are there any unwritten rules or sdn etiquette to follow when posting questions or answering questions in different forums, like if im a pre-med interested in DO should i leave the nontrad, or pre-allo forums alone?

Haha, nah, you can post wherever. I read almost all the forums on these boards. Just don't post identical threads in multiple forums, but no rules, unofficial or otherwise, about posting in different threads.
